Follow these steps to install a licensed version (not a test version) of LC Image software, Release 1.0. [In particular, note Step 6.]
If you have a new license for Release 1.0 you will need a USB key. For a license and USB key, contact:
info@gcimage.com
Download the current release of the software from:
http://www.gcimage.com/downloadsor request a CDROM from:
info@gcimage.com
Remove the USB key from the computer.
Run the downloaded exe file (or the setup.exe file from the CDROM).
Read and agree to the license terms.
Choose an installation folder. Also, if you are running Microsoft Vista Operating System, we recommend that you do not install the software in the Program Files folder (or other system folder).
If desired, and if not previously installed, install the WIBU-Key driver and software and/or the NIST MS search software and demonstration library.
Insert the USB key.
Execute "LC Image" or "LC Project" from the "LC Image" program group in the "Start" menu (or from the bin folder in the LC Image installation folder). The first time you execute your new version, you will be asked whether or not you wish to import settings from a previous installation. This question is not asked subsequently.
Your installation should now be complete. If you encounter licensing or technical problems, contact:
