NIST 2020 Coming Soon

NIST will release it's 2020 update of the NIST/EPA/NIH Mass Spectral Library and Search Software (NIST20) on June 2, 2020. Those who purchase NIST17 in 2020 will receive a free upgrade to NIST20. Until NIST20 is released, GC Image will sell new NIST17 licenses for $1995 and upgrades to NIST17 from an earlier version for $1495.
NIST writes about NIST20: "These libraries have grown in coverage by the fastest rates since their inception. The EI library will contain spectra of over 306,000 compounds, an increase of nearly 40,000 from the 2017 version. The Retention Index library showed a corresponding increase. The Tandem library will double in coverage, with the number of compounds increasing to over 27,000 – including 1.2 M spectra and 288 K precursor ions."
