Integrating 1D peaks

Post by robinweber250A »

We have samples with high-volatility components at the beginning of the chromatogram that do not respond to thermal modulation because of their extremely low boiling points. The rest of the chromatogram modulates properly and we can detect 2D blobs normally.

There is a 1D data display available in GCImage, but is there a way to integrate these unmodulated peaks into blobs so we can quantify the high-volatility compounds?

Thanks,
Robin

It is possible to manually integrate these peaks using local blob detection/editing tools under Detect/Edit Blobs mode, or using area objects.

Alternatively, it might be possible to specify the front as no modulation through the Variable Modulation option when importing the data. Then, detection will be performed in 1D. For this solution, you may contact the support directly with an example chromatogram.
