Question: When I open 3D View, a JET "trap" error message pops up on the screen and then the program exits. How do I solve the problem?

Answer: The fatal error may be caused by your graphics driver or low system resources. To solve the problem, please try the following:

1. Reset 3D View Settings:
In GC Image, go to Menu: Configure > Configure Settings > 3D View
-> Click "Defaults" button to reset the settings for 3D View
-> OK to apply

2. Test 3D View
In GC Image, open example.gci that can be found inside the images folder in the GC Image installation folder (For example, C:\GC Image\GC Image 2.3b3 GCxGC\images)
-> open 3D View

If 3D View fails again, please contact us with the detailed information of your graphics card (including vendor and the size of graphics memory) and the JET error message for further assistance.

As reported by an user, the error is caused by an odd screen resolution. Setting the screen resolution to 1024x768 or the highest resolution provided in Display Properties solved this problem.
